- 500 gm mince/ keema
- 1/2 cup chana dal
- 1 tbsps ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp black pepper corn
- 1 black cardamom
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 mace
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 7-8 cloves
- At the time of mixing
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 2-3 green chilli
- As required Chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp black seeds
- As required Oil for frying
Instructions to make to make Shami kabab
- First take a pressure cooker add all the ingredients and mix it well (except the ingredients of the time of mixing). Now add 1 cup of water and cover the lid and cook for 1 whistle on high flame and 15-20 minutes on medium to low flame.
- After 20 minutes let it cool down and open the lid and grind this mixture nicely.
- Now add finely chopped onion, green chilli and chopped coriander leaves and mix it nicely.
- Now heat up a pan or tawa with oil and take small portion of the mixture and make round ball and flatten it and drop in the oil, do with all of the mixture.
- Fry it for 5 minutes from one side then flip it and fry for another 5 minutes on medium to low flame.
- After that remove it to a plate and our delicious shami kabab is ready. Serve with paratha or roti.
